Obituary

        Sherwood Floyd Hicks of Casco, formerly of Armada died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the age of 56 years.

        Sherwood was born February 28, 1956 in Detroit, a son of Sherwood Allen and June M. (nee Barber) Hicks.  Sherwood was an over the road truck driver for Goodluck Trucking and Nuccio Trucking.  He enjoyed semi trucks, motorcycling, his grandchildren, NASCAR and watching car sales and auctions on television.

        Surviving are his daughters, Tonia (Josh) Hicks-Raimondo of Casco and Tammy (Mark) Wilcox of Dryden; sons, Sherwood Floyd Hicks Jr. of Clinton Township and Jason (Christina) Radvansky of Warren; grandchildren, Kayla, Megan and Reid Wilcox, Jenna, Joel, Ryan and Ethan Radvansky and Andrew Raimondo; brother, Andy Hicks; and sisters, Susan Smoak, Sherrie Welch-Blanton and Patty (Gregory) Devroy.  Sherwood was predeceased by his parents.

        A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his daughter Tonia's home at 8807 Meisner, Casco.
