Emma Hofert

Emma (nee Greening) Hofert, age 100, of Richmond, formerly of St. Clair, died June 8, 2012. She was a former employee of A T & T and retired from Cadillac Motor. Emma was a member of the First United Methodist Church of St. Clair and a member of the Organ Club. She was an active volunteer for her church and for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are her children, Carol (Richard) Novak and Raymond Hofert; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Emma was predeceased by her husband, Walter; grandson; sister; infant brother; and daughter-in-law, Betty Hofert.
Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church, 62657 North Ave., Ray. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visitation Monday 2 - 8 p.m. at Hauss Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb and at church Tuesday 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
