Margaret Mary Loch, a 34 year resident of Macomb Township, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at her home at the age of 81 years.
Margaret was born November 13, 1930 in Royal Oak, a daughter of Frances and Teresa (nee Pfeiffer) Wilson. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth Catholic High School in Detroit. On April 14, 1951, Margaret married Melvin Loch at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Detroit. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Macomb. Margaret was a long time foster care mother to over 20 children. She was an accomplished and published writer and poet. Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Melvin; children, Sandra DiSipio of Lake Orion, Daniel (JoAnn) Loch of Sterling Heights, Kathleen (Richard) Gaca of Keller, TX, Nancy Loch of Mt. Clemens, Jacqueline (Steven) Laboda of Macomb, Karen (Timothy) Fischer of Macomb, Amy (Eric) Nanni of Allenton and Angela (Michael) Schoen of Goodells; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Patricia) Wilson of Chesterfield, Ralph (Midge) Wilson of Harrison Township and Thomas Wilson of St. Clair Shores. She was predeceased by her grandchildren, Nicole DiSipio and Carlyle Fischer; her siblings, Mary Lou Perzyk, Rose Marie Wilson and Robert Wilson and her parents.
A Funeral Masswill be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St.Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd., Macomb with Rev. Fr. John Dumas celebrant. Inurnment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m Friday, February 10, 2012 at Hauss Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service and Saturday at church 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes would be appreciated to DMC Heart Valve Research.
